Brief Overview
The Data Calculator helps you quickly track student performance on a specific goal while you’re documenting a session. Instead of doing mental math, you can record responses as you go and instantly see Correct, Trials, and Accuracy.
How to Use It
1) Open your session in Quick Data and go to the Students & Goals panel.
2) Find the goal you’re working on and select the calculator icon next to it.
3) In the calculator window, tap + for a correct response and - for an incorrect response as you work with the student.
4) Watch the summary update in real time:
- Correct = number of correct responses
- Trials = total attempts
- Accuracy = current percentage
5) If you need to track more than one goal, open another calculator from a different goal. Each one stays open separately.
6) Move calculator windows around the screen as needed, and close each one with the X when you’re done.
Tips
- Keep the calculator open next to your notes so you can record data without breaking workflow.
- Use separate calculators for different goals to avoid mixing results.
- If windows overlap, drag them apart so each goal stays visible.
